西南交通大学创建于1896年，前身为山海关北洋铁路官学堂（Imperial Chinese Railway College)，是中国第一所工程高等学府，中国土木工程、交通工程、矿冶工程高等教育的发祥地，“交通大学”最早两大源头之一，以“唐山交大”“唐院”之名享誉中外。学校是教育部直属全国重点大学，国家首批“双一流”“211工程”“特色985工程”“2011计划”重点建设并设有研究生院的研究型大学。当前学校正大力实施人才强校主战略、国际化战略和数字化战略，为适应建设交通特色鲜明的综合性研究型一流大学的需要，部分管理岗位现面向海内外进行公开招聘。公告如下：

二、应聘资格

（一）唐山研究院(研究生院)院长岗位、宜宾研究院院长岗位

1.在相关领域具有重要的学术影响和较高的知名度。具有博士学位、正高级专业技术职称（或国外著名高校进入终身系列的副教授）；

2.具有宽广的学术视野和引领研究院发展的思路；

3.有较丰富的管理经验和较好的组织协调能力；

4.具有良好的个人品质、职业道德、创新意识和团队精神；

5.具有正常履行职责的身体条件；

6.年龄一般不超过50周岁，特别优秀者可适当放宽；

7.有相关组织工作经历、海外工作经历者优先考虑；

8.校内应聘人员须符合《西南交通大学中层领导干部选拔任用工作规定》中担任中层正职职务的基本条件及任职资格，现职正处级干部不受第1条限制。

（二）前沿科学技术研究院副院长岗位

1.具有博士学位、正高级专业技术职称，在自然科学和工程技术相关领域取得了重大科技成果或重要学术成就，具有重要的学术影响和公认的业界知名度；入选院士和国家高层次人才计划者优先；

2.有国际科研背景、国际化学术视野和作为PI带领研究团队的成功经验，具备引领前沿科学技术相关领域发展的战略思想和超前思维；

3.熟悉科学研究规律和科研团队运行模式，有丰富的管理经验和较好的组织协调能力；曾在著名大学的院（系）、研究机构或重点实验室担任过组织和管理工作者优先；

4.具有良好的个人品质、职业道德、创新意识和团队精神；

5.身体健康，年龄一般不超过45周岁，特别优秀者可适当放宽；

6.鼓励带领科研团队成员同时应聘（团队成员条件另议）；

7.校内应聘人员须符合《西南交通大学中层领导干部选拔任用工作规定》中担任中层副职职务的基本条件及任职资格。

三、聘期

首聘期四年，聘期结束后，视工作业绩决定是否续聘。

四、待遇

1.提供与受聘者学术业绩、岗位职责相对应的待遇。

Founded in 1896, Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU), also known as the Imperial Chinese Railway College, Tangshan Jiaotong University and Tangshan Railway Institute, is one among the earliest Chinese institutions of higher education. The University is China’s prestigious university and listed in the state-level group of the “211 Project universities” and the “985 Project Innovation Platform on Rail Transit & Transportation” under the State Government.

The university is making efforts to implement the main strategy of developing the university by talents, the internationalization strategy and the digital strategy. To fulfill the demands for developing a top-class multi-disciplinary and research-oriented university with dominant characteristics in traffic and transportation, SWJTU now is inviting applications from domestic and overseas talents to fill the dean vacancies of the following positions.

II．Qualifications

A. Dean of Tangshan Institute（1）/ Dean of Yibin Institute（1）

1. Applicants should have important academic influence and high visibility in related fields. Have a doctorate, a senior professional technical title (or an associate professor of a famous foreign university into the life series);

2. A broad academic vision and lead the development of the Institute;

3. Applicants should have rich management experience and good organization and coordination ability;

4. Good personal qualities, professional ethics, innovation awareness and team spirit;

5. Good physical conditions with normal performance of duties;

6. The age is generally not more than 50 years old, and those who are particularly good can be appropriately relaxed;

7. Relevant organizational work experience and overseas work experience are preferred.

8. Applicants in the school must meet the basic conditions and qualifications of the middle-level position in the "Regulations on the Selection and Appointment of Middle-level Leading Cadres of Southwest Jiaotong University". The current position-level cadres are not subject to Article 1.

B. Deputy Dean of leading Science and Technology Research Institute（1-2）

1.Applicants should have a doctorate degree, a senior professional technical title.Make significant scientific and technological achievements or important academic achievements in the fields of natural science and engineering technology. Have important academic influence and high visibility in related fields. Applicants who havebeen selected as talents for national high-level programs and academicians are preferred..

2.With international scientific research background,international academic vision and successful experience as a PI leading research team. Applicants should have strategic thinking and advanced thinking leading the development of cutting-edge science and technology related fields.

3.Familiar with the laws of scientific research and the operation mode of the scientific research team, have rich management experience and good organization and coordination capabilities. Once worked as an organization and management worker in a college (department), research institution or key laboratory of a famous university is preferred.

4.Good personal qualities, professional ethics, innovation awareness and team spirit.

5.Good physical conditions, the age is generally not more than 45 years old, and those who are particularly good can be appropriately relaxed.

6.Encourage leading scientific research team members to apply at the same time (team member conditions to be discussed separately).

7.The applicants in the university must meet the basic conditions and qualifications for the middle-level deputy position required in the “Regulations on the Selection and Appointment of Middle-level Leaders in Southwest Jiaotong University”.

III．Term of Employment

The first employment term of dean position is 4 years. The renewal of dean position will be jointly determined by the work performances in the first term and the agreement between the applicant and SWJTU.
