Data Storage, Management and Processing (DSMP’10)

Introduction

In recent years, data storage, management and processing have emerged as important research fields driven by the demand for scalable structures and technologies to satisfy the growing needs of massive data services. The explosive growth of massive data requires innovative storage technologies, scalable processing systems, and operations concepts capable of managing exa and yotta scale data. A number of challenges, however, make massive data storage, management and processing exciting research areas those have made significant advances in recent years.

This DSMP’10 workshop intends to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to discuss cutting edge research on data storage, management and processing, such that the interactions among the experts of these areas can be promoted and new interdisciplinary technologies can be developed.

Submission Guidance

Submitted papers should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. All papers are refereed through a peer review process. Authors should submit research and application papers following the IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Manuscripts style: two columns, single-spaced, including figures and references, using 10 fonts, and number each page. Page limit for camera ready workshop papers in IEEE CS style is 6 pages.

The proceedings of the workshop programs will be published by IEEE Computer Society Press, in the same proceedings of HPCC 2010, and will be made available to all conference registrants on site. All workshop papers will also be electronically available through IEEE Xplore Digital Database, and professionally indexed through EI and INSPEC Index. Authors of accepted papers, or at least one of them, are expected to register and present their work at the conference.

Interested authors are invited to submit a full paper in PDF file to dsmp10@gmail.com before the deadline. While sending your paper please mentions in subject “Paper for DSMP’10”
